Eryn joined the WGS staff in July of 2013. She is the undergraduate coordinator and is primarily in charge of website maintenance and configuration, accounts payable and travel reimbursements. If you’d like to get a hold of her, she asks that you please use email as much as possible because she is part-time and not always in the office.
Eryn holds a B.S. in Theatre Arts from the University of Oregon, 2010, with minors in Business Administration and Spanish. Currently she is a post-baccalaureate student studying Physics and plans to attend graduate school in Astrophysics. She hopes to someday work for either NASA or as a faculty member at a university, preferably one in the PNW. Her main interests are in orbital mechanics, exoplanets, cosmology, optics, planetary science, programming, science outreach, and seasonal applications of waxed wooden boards on low-friction inclined planes in regions with temperature gradients below the solid-liquid phase transition of water and high precipitation.
