The Sally Miller Gearhart Lectures in Lesbian Studies are part of a fund for lesbian studies created by Carla Blumberg in honor of her professor, mentor and friend, Sally Miller Gearhart. The lectures advance lesbian history and culture, promote dialogue about sexual orientation and gender identity, support diversity and empower lesbian voices in higher education.
